Background
The Eswatini National Industrial Development Corporation (ENIDC) is a Category A State-Owned Enterprise under the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade, established through the NIDCS Act of 1971 to drive industrial development in the Kingdom of Eswatini. As a Development Finance Institution, its funding strategy prioritizes economic sectors aligned with national Government frameworks.
Job Profile
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the above-mentioned vacancy within the Corporation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution
- Admission as an attorney
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in legal roles
- AML/CFT
- Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Compliance will be an added advantage
Duties
- Provide timely and sound legal advisory services to Management and the Board
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Manage litigation and liaise with external legal counsel where necessary
- Risk Management – identify, assess, advise and monitor risk exposure and mitigation strategies
- Compliance Management – conduct compliance audits and report findings, ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and policies
- Serve as Secretary to the Board and Board Committees
