SENIOR IT SPECIALIST
THE ROLE
Lusundvu Agricultural Academy is expanding its digital learning environment and strengthening its security infrastructure. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Specialist to lead, maintain and secure all ICT systems across the institution. This role requires technical depth, strong leadership and the ability to support both academic and administrative operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the school’s entire digital ecosystem, including servers, networks, Wi-Fi, user accounts, and cloud platforms.
- Manage and maintain security systems: CCTV, access control, alarms, networks and related infrastructure.
- Provide advanced technical support to staff and learners.
- Lead IT projects, such as digital learning tools, and new technology.
- Monitor cybersecurity risks and implement protective measures, policies, and incident response.
- Train staff on digital tools.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT support and system administration.
