Job Opportunity: Graduate Finance Trainee Program

Mangethe Group is looking for a sharp, driven Graduate Finance Trainee to join our Finance Department. If you’re fresh out of varsity with a finance/accounting qualification and want real, hands-on experience in construction finance, this is for you.

Mangethe Group invites applications from ambitious, recently qualified graduates to join the Graduate Trainee Programme for 12–24 months.

Minimum Requirements

1. Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Recent graduates are welcome.
2. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and deadline-driven. Pastel/Sage is an added advantage.
3. Willing to learn, proactive, and honest. Construction moves fast and requires someone who can keep up.
4. Based in/near Matsapha and able to visit sites occasionally.
5. Eswatini citizen with knowledge of tax/VAT basics. A valid driver’s licence is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with monthly management accounts, budgets, and project cost tracking.
2. Process invoices, petty cash, and supplier reconciliations.
3. Support payroll, VAT returns, and SARS/Eswatini Revenue Authority submissions.
4. Help monitor site costs, plant hire, fuel, and new mileage cap claims.
5. Work directly with Finance Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Site Agents on cost control.
6. Learn ERP/accounting systems used in construction, including Sage/Pastel and MS Excel.
