JOB SUMMARY

Piggs Peak Town Council invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated young graduates to join its Graduate-in-Training Programme. The programme is designed to provide practical workplace experience and professional development opportunities to recent graduates seeking to launch their careers in local government. As part of Piggs Peak Town Council’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and community development, the programme aims to empower local youth by equipping them with practical skills, exposure to municipal operations, and valuable workplace experience that enhances their employability and career prospects.

  • Civil Engineering
  • Town Planning
  • Environment and Public Health
  • Legal, Risk and Compliance
  • Training and Development/ HR
  • Graphic Design

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Have graduated within the last two (3) years from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Possess a qualification relevant to one of the fields listed above.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Be eager to learn and contribute to the development of the community.
  • Pigg’s Peak graduates will be given a first preference.

DURATION

The Graduate-in-Training Programme will be offered for a period 6 Months and will provide successful candidates with structured on-the-job training and mentorship.

Applications accompanied by a detailed resume and certified copies of tertiary certificates should be emailed to info@piggspeak.org.sz with the subject “Graduate Trainee – Field of Placement” on or before the 25th July 2026 at 12:00hrs.

Due to the expected volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If you do not receive any communication within two weeks after the deadline, please consider your application unsuccessful.
