COMPANY DRIVER

We are seeking a disciplined, dependable, and safety-conscious Company Driver that will be responsible for the safe transportation of products, raw materials, staff, and documentation while ensuring company vehicles are well maintained and operated in compliance with all road traffic regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely transport finished products, raw materials, and company personnel as required.
• Carry out local and cross-border deliveries and collections when assigned.
• Ensure all delivery notes, invoices, customs documentation, and vehicle records are completed accurately.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical faults or maintenance requirements.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean, roadworthy, and compliant with licensing and insurance requirements.
• Maintain accurate mileage, fuel, and trip log records.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods where necessary, ensuring products are handled safely.
• Adhere to company policies, road traffic regulations, and health and safety standards at all times.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver’s licence (Light and Heavy Motor vehicle Licence).
• Valid passport with the ability to travel across borders.
• At least 3–5 years’ experience as a professional driver, preferably within a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Proven experience with local and cross-border deliveries.
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and daily inspection procedures.
• Good understanding of customs and border procedures will be an added advantage.
• Forklift operating experience or certification will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Honest, reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours when operational requirements demand.
