Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in IT or Networking
2. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications will be an added advantage
3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in relevant industry

Job Responsibilities

1. Install, configure, maintain, and repair desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other ICT equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
3. Install, update, and support operating systems, application software, and antivirus solutions.
4. Configure and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, routers, switches, and other network devices.
5. Monitor network performance, system security, and ensure proper ICT documentation and inventory management.
6. Provide first-line technical support and respond to helpdesk requests from staff and students/users.
7. Perform data backup, recovery procedures, and support cybersecurity best practices.
8. Assist with server maintenance, user account management, password resets, and access control.
9. Ensure compliance with departmental QMS processes, KPIs, policies, and ICT procedures.
10. Maintain accurate information on the IQAD portal at all times.
11. Continuously upskill and support operations across MIS, ERP, and Technical Departments.
12. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Skills and Competencies required for the job:

1. Excellent Customer Service in Face-to-Face, Telephone or Electronic Interaction with Clients
2. Good Language and Communications Skills, Problem-Solving.
3. Relevant Certifications such as Microsoft/CompTIA and Cisco
4. Good Understanding of Computer Support and Troubleshooting, Knowledge of Windows 7/10, Mac OSX, Windows Server products and/or Apple Operating Systems
5. Ability to Work in a Team
6. Ability to Prioritise Projects
