WAREHOUSE AND DISPATCH SENIOR SUPERVISOR

Main Purpose of the Job:

Reporting to the Operations Manager is the day-to-day completing warehouse tasks, arrangement of inventory, aggregation and analysis, dispatching, enhance technical capacity, management and leadership to achieve the company’s supply chain objectives. Lead safe, accurate and efficient warehousing and outbound dispatch to meet customer service, cost, and compliance goals. Own inventory accuracy, storage and material flow, pick/pack/ship performance, transport readiness, ESC/EHS compliance, reporting, team development, and continuous improvement.

Key performance activities (inclusive but not limited to):

• Overseeing warehousing operations, the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing (picking, packing) and dispatch of a wide variety of products.

• To ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse and dispatch processes are running smoothly and promptly.

• Coordinate daily dispatch schedules aligned to customer requirements.

• Ensure correct handling, storage, and movement of Finished Goods.

• Own FC stock accuracy across physical stock, ERP, and documentation.

• Manage stock movements, cycle counts, and stock takes.

• Investigate and resolve stock variances within agreed timelines.

• Monitor ageing, slow-moving, and obsolete stock.

• Perform final verification of product quantity and documentation.

• Prevent incorrect, incomplete, or non-conforming dispatches.

• Ensure full traceability where applicable.

• Ensure only conforming, released stock is dispatched.

• Enforce health, safety, quality, and PPE standards.

• Support internal and external audits.

Education/experience minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or operations management or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Warehousing/Supply Chain/Transport/Logistics experience 3–6 years (qualification would be an advantage) in leadership in a senior supervisory or managerial role.

• Certificate in Procurement and Logistics Management or an equivalent professional qualification or membership to a relevant professional body such as Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) (An added advantage).

• Experience of supervising and managing a large team of employees.

• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, email, and internet.

• Detailed understanding and experience of manufacturing custom products (Essential).

• A knowledge of quality, environmental, health and safety and continuous improvement principles as well as ISO certification processes related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 theory and practice (Essential).
