FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (ED/FA2026)
Our client, Eswatini Dairy, a well-established and growing commercial dairy farm owned by PSPF and ENPF, invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and results-driven professionals to fill the position of Financial Accountant.
ROLE PURPOSE
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, budgeting, compliance, and financial analysis to support efficient dairy operations and sustainable profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Maintain general ledger, reconciliations, and management accounts.

Perform cost accounting and profitability analysis (cost per litre, feed, labour, overheads).

Manage inventory and biological asset accounting.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

Monitor cash flow and support treasury management.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal controls.

Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders.

Provide financial insights to farm management for decision-making.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

Recently qualified Chartered Accountant.

Minimum 3–5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in agribusiness, farming, manufacturing, or FMCG.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and budgeting.

Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.

High attention to detail, integrity, and analytical capability.
DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES

Experience in dairy, farming, or production environments.

Understanding of inventory and biological asset accounting.

Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
