SITE AGENT X 2 (ROADS AND EARTHWORKS)
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute Site Agent to join our technical team. This role is for suitably qualified Site Agents with immense experience in Roads and Earthworks.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.

Minimum of eight (8+) years of post-qualification experience in site management within the structural engineering or heavy construction sector.
-
Proficiency in CCS (Candy) and MS Project is essential for project controls and scheduling.
-
Extensive experience in managing large-scale structural steel, reinforced concrete, or complex infrastructure projects.
-
Strong understanding of JBCC, GCC, or NEC conditions of contract.
-
Professional registration with a recognized engineering council or body (advantageous).
-
Valid driver’s license and willingness to be based at various project sites.
-
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and health and safety compliance (NOSA/OHS Act).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Site Management: Oversee all on-site activities, including coordination of labour, plant, and materials to ensure maximum productivity.

Project Programming: Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using CCS and MS Project.

Financial Control: Manage site budgets, monitor costs, and assist in preparation of monthly progress claims and variations.
-
Quality Assurance: Implement project quality plans and ensure work meets required engineering specifications and structural tolerances.

Health & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to HSE regulations, conduct regular safety briefings and risk assessments.

Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring quality of work and adherence to the project timeline.

Reporting: Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly site reports for management and client meetings.
-
Mentorship: Supervise and develop site engineers, foremen, and junior staff to ensure a high-performing project team.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER JOB ADVERTISEMENT

Project Management: Oversee structural projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify compliance with design intent, and resolve technical issues on-site.

Quality Control: Ensure all structural works adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations.

Documentation: Maintain meticulous project records, design reports, and technical documentation.

Collaboration: Work closely with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of structural elements.
