POSITION

Security Compliance Technician (Fixed Term Contract — 6 Months)

Department: Finance Function
Reports to: Network & Systems Engineer
Location: Big Bend, Eswatini

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Monitor systems for threats and assist in incident investigation, reporting, and resolution
• Perform internal audits, support external audits, and ensure adherence to security standards and policies
• Identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps, and support remediation efforts
• Maintain, update, and support security technologies, ensuring systems are patched and operational
• Enforce IT security policies, procedures, and access controls
• Oversee user onboarding, role changes, terminations, and permissions to ensure secure access control
• Maintain compliance records and produce reports on security posture, incidents, and audits
• Track IT asset movements, process change control forms, support periodic asset audits and maintain accurate assets database
• Ensure secure backup processes and monitor cloud systems to safeguard organizational data
• Educate users on IT policies, cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements
• Work with IT teams and vendors to strengthen security controls and processes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• O’level certificate
• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related field
• CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA CySA+
• Minimum 2 years working experience in IT security
• Valid driver’s license
