Job Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and competent safety officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment. The successful candidate must have proven experience in safety management and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities

Continuous inspection of project sites

Verification of tools & equipment quality
-
Enforcing safety guidelines & programs
-
Conducting accident investigations
-
Responding to worker safety concerns
-
Arranging OSHA site evaluations
-
Construction health & safety plan prep
-
Assessment of subcontractor safety plans
-
Promoting safe practices on site
-
Carrying out emergency drills
-
Verifying safety reports for government
-
Communications with government depts
-
Coordinating hazardous materials/waste
-
Monitoring of safety documents/reports
Requirements
-
National Diploma/Certificate in OHS
-
Medical fitness certificate required
-
Minimum 5 years experience
Added Advantage

First Aiders Certificate
-
Working at Heights Certificate
-
SAMTRAC Certificate
