Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement all activities under the “Restoration of ecosystems, integrated water resource management and promotion of sustainable agricultural production systems in the Mbuluzi River Basin project” ensuring appropriate project spending.
- Compile and submit project monitoring/management reports (monthly, quarterly and annually).
- Utilize seasonal forecasts to guide adaptive planning, risk mitigation, and the updating of World Vision Eswatini’s Anticipatory Action Work Plan in alignment with Eswatini National AA Framework.
- Lead the implementation of the Regreening Communities as an Environment Sustainability and Climate Action (ESCA) core project model.
- Work with WV staff and partners to interpret technical models and apply them effectively within Area Programmes.
- Provide expert support to Area Programme staff and project teams on integrating livelihoods and ESCA into sector programming.
- Develop training guides and IEC materials for staff, partners, and communities on climate resilience, environmental stewardship, and green technologies.
- Mentor field teams on environmental compliance, ESCA indicator tracking, and reporting standards.
· Recommend and promote innovative approaches and technologies that reduce environmental impact and strengthen community resilience.
- Provide technical input to develop materials for advocacy like policy brief, Policy analysis, factsheet, documentary, case studies for Livelihood and climate action
