VACANCY ADVERTISEMENT – MARKETING OFFICER
The Institute of Development Management invites applications from suitably qualified and creative candidates with a knack for communicating and a flair for strategizing and implementing marketing campaigns in the Marketing Department in line with established marketing policies and procedures to facilitate reporting and compliance. The position reports to the Marketing Manager.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for delivering marketing strategies, creating compelling content for social media and managing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms to drive engagement and sales.
Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities
- Implement activities that improve student experience
- Implement marketing & communications strategy
- Implement CSR plan
- Implement internal and external surveys
- Social media marketing; content creation, client responses
- Event management
- Advertising and branding across all media
- Website content management
- Customer service
- Email marketing for IDM courses
Education and Experience
Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
Experience: 3 years’ experience in a marketing role
Key Skills and Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Creativity and agility
- Solid knowledge of market research & media landscape
- Thorough knowledge of social media & web analytics
- Passion for exceptional customer service
