Busiquip / Konica Minolta – We’re Hiring
Position: Junior Software Developer (AI-Enabled)
Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

Busiquip is looking for a junior developer who has actually shipped products — small apps, tools, or prototypes you can demonstrate. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, using AI coding tools alongside VS Code to build and improve real products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, improve, and maintain web or mobile applications under senior guidance
  • Use AI coding tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate development while owning the code you ship
  • Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards, and Git workflow
  • Debug issues, write tests, and keep documentation current
  • Collaborate with designers and team members to deliver working features

Must-Have Requirements

  • 1–2 apps or projects you built and can walk through (GitHub repos and live demos preferred)
  • Comfortable using VS Code (extensions, debugging, Git integration)
  • Solid basics in at least one modern web stack:
    • JavaScript / TypeScript
    • Frontend framework
    • Backend / serverless
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (suggestions, test generation, refactoring)
  • Basic Git & GitHub proficiency (branches, PRs, code reviews)

Nice to Have

  • Cloud or serverless experience (Firebase, Supabase, Vercel)
  • CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
  • AI API integration (LLMs, image, or speech models)

How to Apply

Send:

  • Your CV or LinkedIn profile
  • Links to 2–4 projects (GitHub, portfolio, app stores, or live URLs)
  • A brief note on which AI tools you use daily and how
  • A 60-second (or longer) video of yourself explaining why you’re the right person for this role

Email: leon@busiquip.com

Note: If you have not been contacted within two weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.

To apply for this job email your details to leon@busiquip.com.

Motivation comes and goes. Some days we feel inspired and focused, and on other days we feel tired, discouraged or overwhelmed. For young people in Eswatini navigating career choices, or for those already working and hoping to grow their income in 2026, waiting for motivation can slow progress. This is why environment often matters more […]
