VACANCY- INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY ADMINISTRATOR

The Institute of Development Management (IDM) seeks to recruit a qualified Instructional Technology Administrator to support digital teaching, learning, and academic service delivery at the Institution.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Administer and support Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and classroom technologies.

• Provide technical support and training to faculty, students, and staff on instructional tools and digital content delivery.

• Develop, deploy, and maintain digital teaching resources in collaboration with academic departments.

• Manage multimedia resources, smart classrooms, and virtual learning environments.

• Ensure compliance with academic quality standards, data protection, and accessibility requirements.

• Document and report on the adoption, usage, and impact of instructional technology.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in academic IT support or e-learning system administration.

• Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital classrooms, and educational technologies.

• Excellent facilitation and training skills for staff and students.

• Ability to integrate instructional technology with academic programmes.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.

• High ethical standards, adaptability, and commitment to innovation in learning.

• Knowledge of guiding standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, ITIL v4, COBIT 2019, and local data protection laws.
