Position Type: Full-Time
Reports To: General Manager

Bulembu Ministries Swaziland (BMS) invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Human Resources Officer. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective human resource management, compliance with labour legislation, and the promotion of a positive organisational culture aligned with BMS values.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

  • Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, induction, and exit processes.

  • Draft employment contracts, HR policies, job descriptions, and job adverts.

  • Ensure compliance with Eswatini labour laws and statutory requirements.

  • Advise management and staff on HR policies, procedures, and labour matters.

  • Manage disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and appraisal processes.

  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including government departments, insurers, and unions.

  • Oversee occupational health and safety compliance and reporting.

  • Manage and supervise the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).

  • Prepare HR reports, statistics, and submissions as required.

  • Promote confidentiality, professionalism, and a positive work environment.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience.

  • Sound knowledge of Eswatini labour laws and HR best practices.

  • Strong administrative, organisational, and reporting skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and counselling skills.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

  • Computer literacy with experience working with HRIS systems.

  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
