HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

Reports To: General Manager
Bulembu Ministries Swaziland (BMS) invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Human Resources Officer. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective human resource management, compliance with labour legislation, and the promotion of a positive organisational culture aligned with BMS values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, induction, and exit processes.

Draft employment contracts, HR policies, job descriptions, and job adverts.

Ensure compliance with Eswatini labour laws and statutory requirements.

Advise management and staff on HR policies, procedures, and labour matters.

Manage disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and appraisal processes.

Liaise with external stakeholders, including government departments, insurers, and unions.

Oversee occupational health and safety compliance and reporting.

Manage and supervise the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).

Prepare HR reports, statistics, and submissions as required.

Promote confidentiality, professionalism, and a positive work environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-
Degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification.
-
Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience.
-
Sound knowledge of Eswatini labour laws and HR best practices.

Strong administrative, organisational, and reporting skills.
-
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and counselling skills.
-
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Computer literacy with experience working with HRIS systems.
