JOB ADVERT: HR OFFICER
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the HR Officer is responsible for providing professional HR support across the full employee lifecycle, HR compliance, and HR information management. The HR Officer ensures adherence to labour legislation, company policies, and HR best practices while enabling a positive and productive working environment.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
- Recruitment & Selection
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Performance Management
- Support the implementation of the performance management cycle.
- Payroll Support
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll inputs.
- Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation and internal HR policies.
Technical & Behavioural Competencies
- Knowledge of HR practices, labour legislation, and HR processes.
- Confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Report writing and record keeping.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in HR operations.
- Knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
- Experience in HR systems and MS Office Suite (Excel proficiency required).
