VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: HOUSE MOTHER
Hosea’s Heart Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate House Mother to provide holistic care, guidance, and emotional support to the girls within our home. The House Mother serves as a primary caregiver whose role is to nurture, mentor, and raise the girls in a Christian manner—providing love, grace, discipline, and teaching them the skills necessary to live independently while thriving within a supportive community.
Location: Mazini Region
Key Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual leadership, teaching, and guidance
- Offer emotional support, encouragement, and relational stability
- Administer appropriate discipline and maintain oversight of daily routines
- Perform household duties including cleaning, cooking, and general upkeep
- Participate in yard work, gardening, and other self-sustaining projects
- Model Christian values and foster a safe, nurturing environment
Minimum Requirements
- Form 5 Completion
- Valid Driver’s License
- Demonstrated experience raising and/or working with children
- Strong Christian principles and commitment to faith-based caregiving
- Trauma-informed approach to care
- Flexibility, willingness to learn, and a humble attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Compassionate, servant-hearted character
