Main Purpose of Job

To lead, manage, and supervise the provision of quality education to learners.

Required Minimum Education/Training

• Degree in Education or Equivalent qualification.

• Ten years teaching experience with five years leadership experience, of which two (2) years should be in a deputy or headship position.

Required Minimum Work Experience

• 15 Years teaching experience.

• 5 Years leadership experience, of which 2 years must be in a Deputy or headship position.

Key Performance/Results Areas & Key Tasks

• Providing strategic direction, setting high academic standards and ensuring that the RES values are translated into day-to-day operations.

• Promoting academic excellence by ensuring curriculum delivery, monitoring and evaluation of performance and implementing interventions where necessary.

• Effective management of teachers and support staff and ensure teamwork and professional growth and development.

• Stakeholder management by strengthening partnerships between the school, parents and the wider community and building trust and confidence among stakeholders.

• Budget and cost control.

• Governance and compliance.
