HEAD OF MARKETING

The Eswatini Electricity Company, a category A parastatal responsible for the procurement, generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity throughout the Kingdom, seeks to attract a well-suited candidate to raise the EEC profile through Marketing strategy implementation to generate positive and well-represented coverage of the EEC brand through multiplatform delivery. The role reports to the Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, or equivalent.
• A relevant post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Marketing or business management
• Minimum 3 years’ working experience at a supervisory level.

MAIN FUNCTION OF THE JOB:
To develop and implement an effective marketing strategy that ensures optimal brand building, highest levels of customer satisfaction, and stakeholder management.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring an accurate EEC sales revenue base and load focused through measurement and analysis of customer consumption and energy sales.
• Ensuring that customer needs and business requirements are met through market research, analysis, and pricing/tariff studies.
• Promoting the EEC brand and improving customer perception.
• Ensuring customer service delivery levels are met through development and monitoring of marketing strategies.
• Marketing EEC products and services.
• Handling service and product development.
• Stakeholder management and improved perception.
• Handling customer service projects.
