GROUNDSMAN
Purpose of the Position
The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the outdoor areas of the workplace to ensure they are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Landscape Maintenance
-
Mowing lawns and trimming grass.
-
Pruning trees, shrubs, and hedges.
-
Planting flowers, trees, and seasonal plants.
-
Watering and fertilizing plants.
Cleanliness & Upkeep
-
Sweeping walkways, driveways, and parking areas.
-
Removing litter and debris.
-
Clearing leaves and branches.
Repairs & Safety
-
Maintaining outdoor furniture and fixtures.
-
Ensuring pathways are safe and hazard-free.
Irrigation & Equipment Care
-
Maintaining and cleaning gardening tools and machinery.

Minimum Qualifications

Form 5 Certificate.
-
Operating grass cutter.
-
Light Duty Driver’s License.
Experience
-
At least 1 year experience in yard work/maintenance.
