Job Overview

This role supports the organisation by tracking, analysing, and reporting on key business performance indicators. The incumbent will convert data into actionable insights that inform decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic planning.


Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Analysis

  • Assist in collecting, validating, and reconciling data from multiple systems
  • Support data analysis to identify trends, variances, and performance indicators
  • Prepare datasets for reporting and analysis
  • Interpret data and translate findings into meaningful insights

Business Reporting Support

  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Support development and maintenance of dashboards
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of reports
  • Apply reporting standards and data definitions

Stakeholder Support

  • Collaborate with managers, analysts, and business teams
  • Respond to data and reporting queries
  • Participate in meetings and presentations

Systems and Tools Development

  • Use analytics tools such as Excel and Power BI
  • Support data updates, uploads, and basic automation
  • Contribute to improving reporting processes and data quality

Data Integrity and Governance

  • Apply data standards, templates, and definitions
  • Identify and escalate data discrepancies
  • Maintain documentation of reports and data sources

Solutions Analysis

  • Resolve routine functional queries using established procedures

Operational Compliance

  • Adhere to organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Improvement & Innovation

  • Support implementation of improvements and simple change initiatives
