VACANCY: FINANCE OFFICER

The Swaziland Editors Forum is a co-recipient of a European Commission grant Supporting Civic Space in Eswatini and in that capacity is implementing actions strengthening Civil Society Organizations, human rights defenders (HRDs), and rural communities in advancing human rights, democracy and fundamental freedoms.

To support the Forum enhance citizens and civil society capacities to participate in public life, influence policy and hold authorities accountable; we seek to recruit a capable Finance Officer to keep track of the financial operations in implementing the project, including budgeting, reporting and compliance with strict EU regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Project Coordinator, responsibilities include:

• Recording transactions

• Preparing financial reports

• Managing procurement

• Ensuring eligibility of costs

• Project administration

QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree in Finance/Accounting

• 3–7+ years of experience

• Previous work managing EU-funded projects will be a distinct advantage
