POSITION
Electrician
Organization: AfriSam (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd
Team: Cementitious Eswatini
Location: Matsapha
Reports to: Production/Maintenance Team Leader
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute maintenance schedules and other maintenance tasks
- Repair breakdowns on assigned equipment to reduce production stoppage time
- Fault finding of complex electrical boards and equipment
- Participate in, contribute to, and execute cost saving initiatives, maintenance and equipment availability improvement programmes
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum N3 with recognised Electrician Trade Qualification
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in heavy industries
- Experience in using typical electrician tools and equipment
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Basic communication, numeric and literacy skills
- Basic product knowledge
- Electrical skills
- Ability to satisfy the requirements of the Code of Practice for fitness
