Qualifications & Experience
1. Master’s degree in Administration, Education Management, Business Administration, or related field
2. Doctorate degree is an added advantage
3. Minimum 15 years of progressive professional experience, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role within higher education or administration
4. Strong knowledge of higher education policies, labour laws, and overall statutory compliance requirements
5. Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial policy implementation
6. Proven track record in stakeholder engagement with government agencies, industries, and professional bodies
7. Excellent understanding of institutional quality management systems and strategic planning processes
Job Responsibilities
1. Provide overall leadership and management of Eswatini Campus operations
2. Align campus objectives with Botho University’s vision, mission, and strategic plan
3. Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures
4. Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
5. Manage and oversee all activities related to the University Quality Management System for Eswatini Campus
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, industries, and professional organizations
7. Oversee and manage student-related matters, including engagement with student leadership, resolution of student governance issues, and promotion of a positive campus climate.
8. Provide strategic leadership and management to the Human Resource capital of the University.
9. Provide leadership, guidance and monitor the overall performance evaluation system of the university staff and foster adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
10. Represent Botho University positively in professional, community, and industry forums
11. Ensure efficient resource allocation and availability across departments
12. Carry out the responsibilities of the DPVC with authority and strategic foresight
13. Ensure campus-level academic accountability through effective oversight, coordination, and compliance monitoring.
14. Ensure sustainable growth in student enrolment through campus-based recruitment, partnerships, and market positioning.
