Vacancy: Cashier

G. Fox invites applications from suitably qualified and talented female candidates who meet the below criteria to fill the above-mentioned position.

Purpose of the Role

To ensure accurate pricing and quantities at the point of sale, efficiently process customer payments, and deliver excellent customer service by assisting with enquiries, promoting products, and handling exchanges or refunds.

Reporting Line

The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager.

---

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to customer queries and provide appropriate assistance.
• Advise customers on products and actively promote/up-sell items.
• Capture and process sales transactions accurately.
• Handle cash and always maintain accountability.
• Perform daily cash-ups, ensuring all supporting documentation is correctly completed, filed, and signed off.
• File invoices and credit notes in proper sequence.
• Assist with monthly stock counts and ensure all records and systems are fully reconciled.
• Follow and complete end-of-day cash-up procedures accurately.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of a Form 5 Certificate (additional qualifications will be an added advantage).

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in a cashier role working with recognized software.

Skills, Knowledge & Attributes

• Computer literacy.
• Fluency in both English and siSwati.
• Knowledge of products sold within a G. Fox store.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
