CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – DEVELOPMENT OF MODULES FOR IDM’s DIPLOMA IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY DIPLOMA & BACHELOR IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY PROGRAMMES
Introduction
IDM invites expressions from interested consultants to be considered for developing Occupational Health and Safety module guides for Diploma and Bachelor in Occupational Health and Safety programmes.
Scope of Work
The consultants will be required to prepare the module guides in line with the following minimum specifications:

Module cover page
-
Table of contents
-
Preface or module overview
-
Module learning outcomes
-
Module assessment criteria
-
Unit learning outcomes
-
Unit assessment outcomes
-
Content for all module units
-
Student-led practical learning activities by unit
-
Student-lead practical assessment activities by unit
-
Prescribed and recommended study materials
Curriculum Development Specialist [1]
-
Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Education.
-
Any of the following will be an advantage:
-
Experience teaching in higher education.
-
Certfications in Instructional design; Curriculum development; eLearning Design and Development; Pedagogy & Learning Theories.
-
Occupational Health and Safety Specialists [3]
-
Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
-
PGCE or Education will be an added advantage.
-
Experience in Occupational Health and Safety will be an added advantage.
