VACANCY – BUSINESS MANAGER
Location: Mbabane
Cooper Properties is seeking a senior Business Manager with proven leadership experience to oversee financial and operational management of property business. This pivotal role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader with strong financial expertise, operational oversight capability, and the ability to drive accountability and performance within a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small, high-performing team across finance, administration, and operations.
- Oversee financial management, including analysis, reporting, and advising directors on key business, financial and property metrics.
- Ensure accurate financial and administrative processes across multiple business entities.
- Manage general operations: client relations, marketing initiatives, maintenance, facility, health and safety oversight, and service provider relationships.
- Uphold compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements; liaise with auditors, banks and other professional advisors.
- Champion the effective use of technology, digital systems, and streamlined processes to drive efficiency.
- Act as the critical link between staff and directors, ensuring smooth communication, accountability, and delivery on strategic goals.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance (essential).
- 10+ years’ leadership experience in a corporate or medium-sized business environment.
- Proven track record in financial and business operations management.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to provide meaningful insights to support strategic decisions.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities, solving problems proactively, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, while collaborating effectively with directors.
- Experience in the property sector and working with diverse legal/tax structures will be advantageous.
