As Branch Manager, you will oversee the operational, financial, and administrative performance of the branch. You will lead on-the-ground teams, ensure production targets are achieved, manage costs effectively, and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance. Acting as the link between the branch and Head Office, you will align operations with company strategy while driving daily operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership

Deliver daily and monthly production targets.

Optimise machinery, workforce planning, and logistics to maximise efficiency.

Reduce downtime through proactive monitoring and problem-solving.

Provide accurate and timely operational reporting.
People & Performance

Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary workforce.

Build a high-performance, accountable, safety-focused culture.
-
Oversee workforce planning, supervision, and skills development.
Financial Management
-
Manage branch budgets and control operational expenditure.

Monitor costs and implement efficiency improvements.

Authorise procurement and expenditure in line with company policy.

Ensure accurate financial reporting and discipline.
Health, Safety & Compliance
-
Champion a zero-harm safety culture.
-
Ensure compliance with HSE standards and national legislation.

Conduct inspections, manage risks, and investigate incidents.
Stakeholder & Continuous Improvement

Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Represent the business professionally in the local community.

Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and innovation.
Requirements
-
Diploma or Degree in Business, Operations, Agriculture, or related field.

5–7 years’ operational or production management experience (forestry, manufacturing, or agriculture preferred).

Proven leadership in demanding operational environments.

Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
-
Knowledge of HSE standards and labour legislation in Eswatini.
-
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Key Competencies
Decisive leadership, strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, resilience under pressure, integrity, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAGE).
