ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR – DISPATCH

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Supervisor – Dispatch at Umbuluzi Farm Chickens. The successful candidate will report to the Dispatch Supervisor and will be responsible for supporting the dispatch function by overseeing daily operations, coordinating staff, and ensuring efficient communication and workflow within the dispatch team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily dispatch operations, including route allocation, delivery tracking, and workflow optimisation

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and relevant industry regulations

• Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance dispatch efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness

• Prepare and submit operational reports

• Supervise, coordinate, and support dispatch personnel

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Business Management, Logistics Management, or a related field
  OR

• Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management

• Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience in a similar environment
