About us

Empowering Youth and Women, Transforming Futures

Welcome to Thubelihle, Eswatini’s first comprehensive information and development platform. Thubelihle aims to bridge the gap between Eswatini’s people and the opportunities that will help shape their future and unlock their full potential. Thubelihle is a community hub for resources, opportunities, and community connections. Your journey starts here, so please come in.

Thubelihle is a partnership between Nhloso Likusasa Le’lichakazile (NLL) and the Youth and Women Empowerment and Support (YES) Project – a three-year EU-funded initiative (2023 – 2025) led by COSPE, in collaboration with Kwakha Indvodza, Luvatsi, Gcama Mfati, and Swaziland Rural Woman’s Assembly. The European Union Delegation to Eswatini supports the project and promotes strong EU-Eswatini relations.

Our Vision

A future where Eswatini’s youth and women have the tools, knowledge, and opportunities to thrive in all areas of life.

Our Mission

To empower young people and women by providing easy access to valuable resources, fostering skills development, and creating a space for engagement and growth.

Our Values

  • Inclusivity: We welcome everyone, regardless of background, and strive to meet the diverse needs of Eswatini’s youth and women.
  • Innovation: Our platform incorporates modern technology while maintaining cultural relevance.
  • Empowerment: We aim to inspire confidence, knowledge, and self-reliance in our users.
  • Collaboration: By working with community organisations, private sector partners, and individuals, we create a thriving network of support.

Our Story

Thubelihle was born out of a desire to address the challenges faced by youth and women in Eswatini. From limited access to skills training to a lack of centralised information, we recognised the need for a platform that would act as a bridge to opportunities. Inspired by the collaborative nature of Swazi villages, Thubelihle combines culture and technology to foster progress and empowerment.

What we Do

Thubelihle is designed to be more than just a website; it’s a community-driven initiative inspired by the warmth and unity of a Swazi homestead. Here’s how we make a difference:

  • Centralised Access to Resources: We provide a one-stop platform for information on skills training, career development, education, human rights, and entrepreneurship support.
  • Empowering Through Knowledge: By curating tailored content for Eswatini’s youth and women, we ensure that our users find what they need quickly and easily.
  • Building Connections: Through our interactive features like forums and events calendars, we help people connect, collaborate, and create lasting networks.

We invite you to join us on this journey of empowerment. Whether you’re looking to learn, connect, or contribute, Thubelihle has a place for you. Together, we can make a difference.
