JOB PRIMARY PURPOSE
Applications are invited from dynamic and innovative recently graduated candidates to fill the Graduate Trainee: Security Systems position. The successful candidate will participate in a 24-month structured graduate program designed to develop practical skills in administering integrated security systems that safeguard the Bank’s people, assets, and facilities.AS A GRADUATE TRAINEE, YOU WILL BE EXPOSED TO THE FOLLOWING: 

  • Participating in the installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of integrated security systems for new Bank facilities and renovation projects, working alongside internal stakeholders, contractors, and technology vendors.
  • Developing practical knowledge of integrated electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, fire detection, and communication technologies.
  • Gaining exposure to the planning, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise security systems.
  • Learning how technology is used to strengthen physical security, operational resilience, and business continuity.
  • Participating in system testing, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Developing an understanding of security risk management, governance, compliance, and industry standards.
  • Working alongside multidisciplinary teams on technology projects from planning through implementation.
  • Exploring emerging technologies and innovative solutions that enhance organizational security.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidate must have completed a degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Forensic Sciences or equivalent.
  • No prior work experience is required; however, candidates with up to two (2) years of relevant work experience will be considered.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Must be willing to learn and develop technical and professional competencies.
  • Genuine interest in integrated security systems, technology, and innovation.
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and apply learning in practical work.

The Bank offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with value add, experience and qualifications.
