Mechanic

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance on motor vehicles and heavy plant machinery
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform high-quality repairs in a timely manner
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and maintenance protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
- Field Support: Provide on-site mechanical support for project sites as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery (excavators, loaders, motor grader) and light motor vehicles
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license mandatory
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Reliability: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Problem-Solving: Excellent diagnostic skills and proactive approach to equipment maintenance
