FIELD SERVICE PRINTER TECHNICIAN
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance & Repairs: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of office equipment, including multi-function printers (MFPs), digital copiers, and fax machines.
Installation: Safely deliver, install, and network new printing machines at client sites.
Network Connectivity: Configure printers on client networks, set up IP addresses, download drivers and provide client training.
Service & Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular printer service and preventative maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or above in digital electronics.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical repairs and maintenance of office equipment.
- Strong understanding of IT fundamentals, Local Area Networks (LAN), and printer-to-pc connectivity.
- Ability to read technical schematics, interpret error codes, and develop creative solution for unusual hardware faults.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and courteously with clients and team members.
- A valid driver’s license with no criminal record.
