POSITION: GRADUATE TRAINEE ACCOUNTS CLERK (12-MONTH CONTRACT)

Feedmaster is a leading manufacturing organization based in Matsapha. We operate a fast-paced production facility and are committed to developing local talent. We are launching our 12-Month Graduate Trainee Programme to give a motivated BCom Graduate foundational, hands-on experience in commercial bookkeeping and transactional accounting.
Role Overview
This entry-level clerical training role focuses on daily financial data capture, reconciliations, and office administration. You will work closely with our finance team to learn how factory floor transactions flow directly into our primary financial ledgers. Top performers will be considered for permanent placement at the end of the 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Capture: Accurately input accounts payable invoices, supplier bills, into the financial system.
- Reconciliations: Perform daily bank cashbook reconciliations and match monthly supplier statements.
- Cash Management: Assist with receipting, tracking customer deposits, and maintaining the petty cash ledger.
- Clerical Support: Maintain a neat, structured physical and digital filing system for all invoices, vouchers, and tax documents.
- Month-End Assistance: Provide administrative support during the month-end closing processes and standard ledger clearing.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: A recently completed Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business stream.
- Experience: No formal prior experience required; full on-the-job training is provided.
- Skills: Strong computer literacy with basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data capture and layout sorting).
- Attributes: High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn manufacturing office systems.
- Status: Must be currently unemployed and available to commit to the full 12-month program.
