FINANCE CLERK
We are looking for a Finance Clerk to take on various finance clerk tasks. Their main responsibilities will include collecting and counting cash from hospital clients, keeping financial records, preparing hospital bills and delivering high-quality customer service.
ACADEMIC SPECIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Accounting with experience working with Pastel, Microsoft Word and Excel. Work experience in a finance field will be an added advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process hospital bills, receipts and other documents.
- Collect hospital cash from clients and ensure that it is properly remitted for banking.
- Ensure all hospital documents are properly signed and distributed.
- Monitor financial transactions.
- Enter data and maintain updated records of the hospital’s financial records.
- Assist with account reconciliations.
- Report the status of accounts and discrepancies.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
We’re looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail, strong Maths and Accounting skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently. Must be someone who is trustworthy and an excellent communicator.
