Job Purpose
The WASH DME Coordinator will lead data management, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting for the USC project. The role ensures high-quality data collection, analysis, and visualization to support program performance and decision-making while strengthening capacity across teams and partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Management, Quality & Analysis
- Support development of data systems and tools (e.g., MWater, GIS platforms)
- Manage data extraction, analysis, and reporting processes
- Administer and maintain data systems across project areas
- Develop dashboards and integrate GIS mapping for performance tracking
- Conduct data quality audits, validations, and spot checks
2. Reporting & Information Sharing
- Coordinate timely reporting to donors and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with project and donor requirements
- Develop innovative reporting tools (dashboards, GIS visualizations)
- Align reporting with government and global M&E frameworks
- Support communications teams with data-driven insights and storytelling
3. Evidence Gathering & Capacity Building
- Train staff and partners on M&E tools (MWater, GIS)
- Provide mentorship and supportive supervision
- Facilitate learning and reflection sessions with teams and communities
- Strengthen capacity in data analysis, visualization, and reporting
- Introduce new technologies for improved monitoring and evaluation
4. Programme Management & Design
- Contribute to proposal development (baseline data, needs assessments, GIS outputs)
- Support implementation of Integrated Program Framework (IPF)
- Ensure compliance and quality in grant reporting
- Provide data support to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Social Sciences, ICT, Data Science, Development Studies, Public Health, Statistics, or related field
- Understanding of DMEAL (Design, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning) concepts
- Experience with data tools (Kobo, SPSS, PowerBI, STATA, SAS)
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Knowledge of data flow processes and troubleshooting
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and lead teams

Working Conditions
- Field-based role with reporting at the National Office
