COSPE, an organization committed to international cooperation, social justice, and migration for over 40 years, is seeking a Project Manager for its component on Climate Change Adaptation.
Role description:
The selected Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing, planning and implementing projects, under the Climate Change Adaptation Component. This role will include the management and supervision of a team that will actively promote initiatives related to climate change, natural resource management, agroecology and territorial planning. All the implemented initiatives will have a strong Human Rights approach and will be implemented through a climate justice lens.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a high level of reliability, leadership ability, and passion for work. Teamwork and adherence to COSPE’s values of professionalism, consistency, cooperation, respect, and creativity are essential.
Qualifications and Requirements:
– Previous experience in project management, preferably in the field of international cooperation or related to sustainable development.
– Previous experience in the management of human resources and their coordination
– Proved Knowledge and expertise in climate change adaptation, natural resource management, and territorial planning.
– Knowledge and expertise in the management and administration procedures of major donors (EU, USAID, UN…)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with local partners, project teams, and other involved organizations.
– Familiarity with the context and socio-cultural dynamics of Eswatini will be advantageous.
– Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
– Proficiency in written and spoken Siswati is an added value

Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract (with a probation period of 3 months) with the possibility of extension and renewal
