EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

SNAT Burial Scheme, a teacher’s burial scheme, invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following vacant positions based at our Office in Manzini.


1. ACCOUNTANT

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent from a recognized university.

  • Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Must be a Swazi citizen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.

  • Process member contributions, claims payments and supplier invoices.

  • Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow.

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting to the Board.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.


2. CLAIMS OFFICER

Qualifications

  • IT-related qualification (Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Records Management, Computer Studies or equivalent) from a recognised institution.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in claims processing or customer service.

  • Strong data-entry and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Must be a Swazi citizen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify and process burial claims from members and beneficiaries.

  • Capture claim details accurately into the scheme’s IT system.

  • Liaise with funeral service providers and beneficiaries for smooth claim settlement.

  • Prepare claim reports and maintain claim registers.

  • Ensure all claims comply with scheme rules and are paid timeously.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

3. SECRETARY

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Office Administration or equivalent from a recognized institution.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.

  • Excellent typing speed, communication and organizational skills.

  • Must be a Swazi citizen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the management team.

  • Type letters, reports, minutes of meetings and other correspondence.

  • Manage office diaries, schedule meetings and coordinate travel arrangements.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails and visitors professionally.

  • Maintain filing systems and office supplies.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.


4. FILES / FILING OFFICER

Qualifications

  • IT-related qualification (Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Records Management, Computer Studies or equivalent) from a recognised institution.

  • Knowledge of database systems and electronic filing.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in records management or data entry.

  • Must be a Swazi citizen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update both physical and electronic member files.

  • Ensure proper indexing, storage, retrieval and security of all documents.

  • Digitise records and capture data into the scheme’s database.

  • Assist members and staff with file searches and information requests.

  • Generate periodic reports on file status and compliance.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.


Remuneration

Competitive packages commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
