Swazi Lottery Trust (Pty) Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and results-driven candidates for the position of Commercial Manager.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving commercial performance across the business, with a strong focus on revenue growth, operational efficiency, reporting, compliance, and strategic partnerships.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Limited Payout Gambling Machine (LPM) industry and extensive experience in gaming machine operations

Proven track record of increasing quarterly GGR
-
Proven experience as a Commercial / General Manager within a gambling-related company
-
Strong commercial, financial, and operational management experience
-
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
-
Demonstrated ability to compile and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
-
In-depth understanding of gambling regulations, compliance, and risk management
-
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive sustained GGR growth
-
Manage and grow site performance through effective engagement with site operators and partners
-
Draft, negotiate, and manage royalty and site operator agreements
-
Conduct commercial, financial, and operational risk analysis
-
Design, implement, and monitor internal control procedures
-
Develop and facilitate training programs for internal staff and site operators
-
Oversee pricing structures, commissions, and incentive models
-
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports to executive management and the Board
-
Analyse financial and operational data to support informed decision-making
-
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities

Ensure full compliance with regulatory, licensing, and internal governance requirements

Work closely with operations, technical, and finance teams to optimise machine and site performance
-
Lead, mentor, and performance-manage commercial and operational teams
ADDITIONAL DUTIES

Assist with new site identification, evaluation, and rollout
-
Support dispute resolution with site operators and other stakeholders
-
Participate in internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections
-
Contribute to long-term strategic planning and business development initiatives
-
Represent the company in industry meetings and stakeholder engagements
-
Perform any other duties reasonably required to support the objectives of Swazi Lottery Trust
