PRICING CLERK
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Pricing Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all pricing is accurate and in compliance with company procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- 2 – 3 years’ work experience in a costing role
- Proficiency in use of MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Experienced in used of accounting software, preferably SAP/EMA

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform day-to-day costing transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording pricing data.
- Acquire deal from supplier and prepare relevant paper trail for deal and load onto SAP/EMA.
- Process all orders timely, liaising with suppliers and customers to rectify any problems.
- Liaise proactively with customers to minimize problematic orders.
- Check and process all claims for validity and log with Debtors.
- Manage and update master price lists and deal structures for all key accounts.
- Process credit memo drafts and ensure that these are handled daily so that Accounts Payable can proactively address supplier claims.
- Perform any other duties as may be reasonably assigned.
