RISK ANALYST

The Bank seeks to appoint a Risk Analyst to support the identification, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of emerging risks within the bank. The role will focus on financial risk management, the analysis of balance sheet risks, and the provision of risk insights to support strategic decision-making and regulatory compliance.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform financial risk analysis covering credit, liquidity, market and capital adequacy.

  • Monitor and analyse key risk indicators and risk appetite metrics.

  • Support the preparation of risk reports for Management, ALCO, Risk Committee and the Board.

  • Conduct stress testing, sensitivity analysis and scenario analysis.

  • Analyse financial statements, portfolio performance and risk exposures.

  • Support ICAAP, risk appetite framework and financial risk policy implementation.

  • Assess emerging risks and provide timely risk insights.

  • Support regulatory and internal risk reporting requirements.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of models, assumptions and methodologies.

  • Participate in risk reviews, portfolio monitoring and ad-hoc analytical assignments.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Econometrics, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

  • At least three (3) years’ experience in financial analysis and/or risk management, preferably within a banking or financial services environment.

  • Strong understanding of financial risk management concepts.

  • Proven experience in financial data analysis and interpretation.

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate risk insights clearly.

REMUNERATION
