SENIOR TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT – MINING & PROCESSING

Lomati Mine invites applications for the position of Senior Technical Superintendent – Mining & Processing, a senior technical role responsible for driving production execution, operational discipline, and technical optimisation across mining and mineral processing operations during a critical phase of mine expansion.

Minimum Requirements (Strict):

• Degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or a closely related discipline

• Minimum 10 years’ post-qualification experience in mining operations

• Demonstrated experience in open-pit mining, including drill-and-blast operations

• Proven exposure to mineral processing plants (crushing, screening, gold recovery advantageous)

• Prior operational experience in African mining jurisdictions

• Strong track record in production optimisation, cost control, and operational turnaround

• Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, and transfer skills to local teams in a live operating environment

Mandatory Project Experience (Must Be Evidenced in CV):

Applicants must clearly list and describe at least three (3) relevant projects or operations, including the following information for each:

• Mine name and country

• Type of operation (open pit, transition to drill-and-blast, underground, or hybrid)

• Role held and level of direct responsibility

• Specific drill-and-blast involvement (design, execution, fragmentation control, productivity improvement)

• Processing plant exposure (plant type, throughput, recovery focus)

• Quantifiable outcomes achieved (e.g. % production increase, cost reduction, availability improvement)
