VACANCY – TRAINEE PERMANENT WAY TECHNICIAN

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above-mentioned position:

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To supervise all track maintenance and associated work, measure track parameters and ensure that the track is always in a safe condition for the passage of trains.

QUALIFICATION
Diploma in Civil Engineering

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 3 years in a civil engineering role

• Knowledge of technical drawings interpretation

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES

• Theory, principles and practices of civil engineering as applied to construction methods

• Coordination skills

• Knowledge of project management

• Excellent planning and organizing skills

• Must be a team player
